The pump is model APSB4x3 with a 15KW motor, a flow rate of 80m³/h, and a head of 21m. The pump speed is 1450 (50Hz), and it has a mechanical seal made of durable tungsten carbide alloy material. The pump has a 4” inlet and a 3” discharge and is interchangeable with the Mission Magnum pump. The pump comes with seaworthy packing.
The mud hopper is used to add chemicals and other additives to the drilling mud to change its properties. The hopper is model APSH600-20 and is a venturi hopper.
